Danyang Jinggong Radio Equipment Factory was established. It specialized in the manufacturing of magnetic materials and alkaline battery machinery.

In the new factory covering an area of 3,000 m2 on the Silk Road at the East Gate, Danyang, the company began to design and manufacture diamond saw blade machinery. Its annual output was 20 units.

The company expanded its business by designing and manufacturing single unit equipment and production lines for all types of Alkaline-Manganese batteries.

The company renamed itself as Danyang Qirui Machinery Co., Ltd. with a new registered capital of 6 million yuan. It manufactured and machined machinery, the five metals, magnetic materials, electronic components, molds, auto parts, and battery production equipment(battery excluded), and sold machinery equipment. Meanwhile, it provided such technical service as the design and development of battery production equipment and other non-standard equipment.

The company relocated to the Liuyan Industrial Park in the High-Tech Zone, Danyang. It began to manufacture the production lines for lithium-manganese coin batteries and introduced ISO9001 Quality Management Certification to formulate the enterprise product standard targeting alkaline battery production lines. At the same time, its registered capital reached 8.16 million yuan.

Recognized as “State High-Tech Enterprise”

Developed the intelligent and automated production equipment for battery packaging. Loop pressing machine, zinc paste machine, and sealant spraying machine were certified as high-tech products.

Developed LR6 600ppm high-speed assembly line.

Selected as “Jiangsu Demonstration Enterprise in Service-Oriented Manufacturing”.

It renamed as Qirui Science and Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd with a registered capital of 50.08 million yuan.

It convened the Development Forum of China Battery Industry Association.

It was granted “Battery Equipment R&D and Production Base” by China Battery Industry Association.

800ppm LR6/LR03 high-speed intelligent production lines were developed here. 800ppm is the highest speed currently in China.

It was certified as “State Little Giant Enterprise” which means an enterprise holds profession, excellent, specialty and innovation in one industry.

It set up an engineering technology research center and an industrial design center at the provincial level.

It was awarded Jiangsu Third Prize in Science and Technology and Third Prize of China National Light Industry Council Science and Technology Progress Award.

Phase 4 factory was expanded.

Shanghai R&D Center——Fangben Science and Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was founded.
